To obtain an apostille for your documents from the office of Alvin Jaeger North Dakota’s Secretary of State in office in Bismarck follow the guidelines:
Considerations for documents notarized by a North Dakota notary: The North Dakota Secretary of State’s office will verify that the notary certificate commission is valid in order to issue the apostille.
Please make sure your notarized documents contain: A certificate of notarial acts also known as acknowledgement (cloud be printed or hand written) signature of notary (matching the signature on file) date, county where the notary is registered and the commission expiration date.
Considerations for certified copies of official document such as birth, death or marriage certificates, these must be certified copies issued by the State registrar of vital statistics, a county clerk recorder of a circuit court judge.
