代办美国国务院公证认证
美国国务卿认证，也叫美国国务院认证或美国联邦政府认证，是美国领事认证的其中一环。在进行中国领事馆公证认证的情况下，如果属于华盛顿特区大使馆所辖领区的，须送美国国务院办理认证后，再送华盛顿特区大使馆申请领事认证。
美国国务院认证比较容易出错的就是“Authentication Certificate Requirements”和“Apostille Requirements – Hague Convention（海牙认证）”。
在中国使用需要办理“Authentication Certificate Requirements”，而不是“Apostille Requirements – Hague Convention（海牙认证）”。

常见问题：
- 出生证认证必须经美国国务院认证办公室认证吗？
只有归属华盛顿领事馆的州才需要经过美国国务院认证，其他州则不需要。
请注意：在州务卿处，应该申请Certificate（有的州这一步叫authentication），而不是Apostille。如果你办了后者，领馆可能不予认证。
